Starting around mid-July The Digital Diplomat is going to kick into full gear with coverage of world politics and economics. Unlike this blog’s predecessor, Digital Dissent, I aim to cover more than just the Middle East. Latin America and Asia are quickly becoming new hot zones for activity and change that directly affect American interests and the global order, Europe is seeing a handful of problems as it attempts to transform into a more cohesive unit, and Russia is finding itself as an influential swing vote on security matters that may affect the entire global community. In short, there’s a ton of stuff going on the world over that I believe deserves more coverage and discusion. So, I am looking for any bloggers out there who are versed in international affairs issues — be they a regional expert or versed in a particular topic (such as nuclear proliferation) — who would like to contribute here.
